This is another of our original ideas. The “Sports Weekend with K2” event is a series of training sessions for children and young people who want to spend their weekends actively in their localities. Its goal is to promote physical activity, as well as sports, among others. Soccer, basketball and volleyball. During the series, you can test your sports skills, as well as enter the next levels of initiation of each sport and polish your talent. All thanks to professional trainers or celebrities who conduct classes and pay attention to the correctness of the exercises and the commitment of each participant.
– We want to show that days off from work or school can be spent in an active way, not necessarily in front of a computer or phone screen. In addition, we want to promote soccer, volleyball and basketball, and in the future, some of the participants may go professional in these sports,” say Karolina and Luke Zaborowski.
In addition, each training session ended with a joint match or mini-tournament, depending on the number of participants. Not only does this foster a desire to compete and shape character, but the K2 Zaborowscy Foundation also wants to promote fair-play and show each trainee that it’s worth playing “clean.”
It is worth mentioning that the “Sports Weekend with K2” series took place in Koscielisko, Ilawa, Kolno, Kętrzyn and Chmielno, with soccer and volleyball stars as coaches. Nearly a thousand kids went through the entire project, and interest was so high that we had to finish sign-ups a few days before the event.
